Plan of Salvation
Simple Steps to have a Personal Relationship with Jesus Christ!
Step 1:
Realize and Accept that God loves you.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." - John 3:16
Step 2:
Realize and Accept the fact that all people are sinful.
Understand that God is holy and while He wants to have a personal relationship with you - sin hinders the possibility.
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" - Romans 3:23
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." - Romans 6:23
Step 3:
Realize and Accept that Jesus has provided a way for people to have hope and salvation through Him.
"But God demonstrates His own love for us in this; While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." - Romans 5:8
"...Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, that He was buried, that He was raised on the third day according to the scriptures... and He appeared to more than 500 of the brothers and sisters..." - I Corinthians 15:3-6
"Jesus said to him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through me." - John 14:6
Step 4:
Realize and Accept your need to receive Jesus Christ as your personal Savior
"If you declare with your mouth Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved." - Romans 10:9-10
"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-- and this is not from yourselves, it is a gift from God.” - Ephesians 2:8-9
Now what?
Pray and ask Jesus to forgive you and help you. Ask Him, in faith, to come into your life and become your Savior and Lord..
Once you have prayed, seek a Bible believing - Bible preaching Church nearby. Go and tell them what you have prayed and that you seek their help in growing. And remember that the facts of the scriptures clearly state that you will be saved. Don't get wrapped up in feeling, alone, for you have begun an eternal journey with Jesus Christ.
