Spiritual Spotlights are simple ways for common people to encounter God in the midst of everyday life.

Welcome to Spiritual Spotlights!

  • Our mission is simple and straightforward. It is to assist you in your daily life, through short creative devotionals, tied to the Scriptures. Generally we will quote from the NIV version of the Bible, but do not limit ourselves to it.

  • As we become more established and settled in, it is our hope to kick off — “Little Blinks”, a simple children’s devotional, written by and for smaller kids. We also envision sharing a positive focused devotional for the ladies.

    There are many options in our world today to help the Christian community in their walk. We want to keep it simple, encouraging and helpful, so pause for a couple of minutes and enjoy!

  • We are putting forth this effort to one and all who care to walk with us. There are expenses and if  you desire to support this ministry it would be greatly appreciated. 10% of all profits will be donated to the Youth Services of Franklin/Simpson County High School, in Franklin, Kentucky.

  • Founder, Author, & Pastor

    Gene Vincent is a committed Christian and a lifelong believer in Jesus Christ. Raised in a Christian home with traditional Southern values, he has dedicated over 43 years to ministry, serving as a pastor, missionary, and chaplain. Gene and his wife, Melanie, now reside in South Central Kentucky, where he leads Flat Rock Fellowship Baptist Church, a congregation they founded with six others. Gene is deeply passionate about maintaining a Bible-based approach while ensuring practical application in his ministry.


  • Design Director

    Amanda is a God-fearing business owner and a devoted mother of three. Born and raised in Kentucky, Amanda grew up with a strong Christian foundation and was baptized at the age of 12. Over the past three years, she has embarked on a profound spiritual journey, deepening her faith and commitment to God each day. Her passion lies in integrating her beliefs into every aspect of her life, guiding her family and her business with the values she holds dear.
